Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective October 9, 2026 · Updated October 9, 2026

How Duck Heroes handles visits to this website, cookies, analytics, and privacy requests.

1. Who we are

Duck Heroes (“we”) explains here what happens when you visit this website. The site is in English. It does not guess your country in order to switch language.

Data controller: Duck Heroes. A public contact email is not published yet. It will be added to this page before any catalog or membership opens.

2. Information we collect

We collect as little as we can:

Technical logs that the host already keeps, such as IP address, browser, and the page requested, used for security and delivery.

A consent choice you make in cookie settings, stored in local storage on your browser.

Anything you choose to send if you email us.

This website does not collect precise GPS location, biometrics, or payment card numbers.

3. Cookies and analytics

Analytics is off unless a measurement ID is configured for this deployment and you accept cookies.

If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies to count page views and referral sources in aggregate. If you decline, that script is not loaded.

The choice is stored locally under the key duckheroes-cookie. You can change it from Cookie settings in the footer.

We do not use advertising cookies or data-broker pixels.

4. Service providers

Vercel hosts the site and delivers it over its network.

Google provides analytics only when it is enabled and you accept.

No payment provider is connected to this site today. If a paid license is offered later, that provider’s own privacy policy will cover checkout, and card numbers will not be stored here.

5. Retention and security

Host logs follow the host’s short operational retention. The consent value stays in your browser until you clear it.

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit with HTTPS.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the EEA, the UK, California, and other regions with privacy statutes, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, object to processing, or withdraw analytics consent.

You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Contact

A public contact email is not published yet. It will be added to this page before any catalog or membership opens.
