The license that covers Duck Heroes STL files. It allows a personal print. It does not allow a sale, a file share, or use of the Duck Heroes brand.
In short
You may
Download a Duck Heroes STL and print it for yourself, or give the finished physical print as a gift. No account is required.
You may not
Sell the print, take a paid commission, or use it in a shop, market, fair, advertisement, or promotion. There is no commercial license.
You may not
Upload, resell, lend, or give away the STL or any remixed digital file, including on print sites, drives, or group chats.
The brand stays with Duck Heroes
The Duck Heroes name, logo, and storefront names are not part of this license. A film, game, or character duck is fan-made, not official merchandise.
1. The license
Duck Heroes grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download the STL files published on this website and to print them for your own personal use.
Personal use means a print for yourself, or a finished physical object you give as a gift with no payment, trade, or business purpose. It does not grow into a right to sell because the file was free.
This license applies to each file you download from this site. It is the whole permission. There is no separate commercial license.
2. What is outside it
You may not sell, rent, auction, or commercially display a physical print made from a Duck Heroes file. Shops, marketplaces, craft fairs, conventions, wholesale, and paid commissions are all outside this license.
You may not use a Duck Heroes print to advertise a business, as a bonus with something you sell, or as a sample that leads to a paid order.
A gift is not a sale. If money, goods, or a service change hands, it is not a gift.
3. The digital files
You may not upload, post, sell, lend, sublicense, or otherwise share the STL, 3MF, or any other digital file, original or modified. That includes file hosts, 3D-model sites, social platforms, and private groups.
You may scale a print and change filament or paint for your own use. A remixed, split, or recolored digital file is still a Duck Heroes file. You may not publish it or sell it.
You may not send the file to a print service so that the service, or you, can sell the result. The file is for you to print.
4. Name and logo
Duck Heroes, the logo, the wordmark, and the storefront names PrintableDucks and DuckHeroes identify Duck Heroes. This license does not let you use them as the name, avatar, or identity of a shop, product line, or account.
You may say that a personal print was designed by Duck Heroes. You may not present yourself as Duck Heroes, as a partner, or as an official seller.
5. Fan-made themes
Some ducks interpret a film, game, story, or character. Those models are fan-made sculptures. They are not official merchandise.
This license does not grant any trademark, copyright, or other right in those third-party works. Do not describe a print as official, licensed, or endorsed by the rights holder.
6. If the license ends
Duck Heroes may end this license for a person who breaks it, including by sharing a file or selling prints. Ending the license does not transfer the files to you.
If the license ends, you stop using the files. Personal prints you already made for yourself may stay with you. You still may not sell them, and you still may not share the files.
7. Ownership
Duck Heroes owns the model files, the site, the photographs it publishes, the text, and the Duck Heroes brand. This page gives a license. It does not sell the files or transfer ownership.
Duck Heroes may enforce that ownership, including by asking a host to remove a file that was shared without permission.
